One off 25% Reduction of Fee on Application for Registration and Renewal of Registration betw Jan 2020 and Dec 2020

Dear Registered Architects,

The ARB in consideration of the well-being of the architectural profession has in December 2019 decided to adopt a one-off 25% reduction on fees for application of registration and renewal starting 1 January 2020, which would cover all Registered Architects (RAs) with registration expiring in 2020. The decision was made with a view to support the profession against a difficult economic downturn, which continues to prove challenging in 2020 for architects as well as the wider buildings and construction industry due to the global outbreak of COVID-19.

All ongoing applications for registration and renewal in 2020 (for RAs with registration expiring on 31 March 2020, 30 June 2020, 30 September 2020 and 31 December 2020) will benefit from this one-off fee reduction, with the following fee structure:

The foregoing fee reduction lasts for one year during 2020.
